Have you undertaken research on BME communities? Do you need access to Research?
Although, many studies have been conducted on BME communities, access to this information has been fraught with difficulty. More needs to be done in making this information available to the BME VCS and wider sector. Voice East Midlands is looking to collate national and regional specific BME research and create a database so that this research is easily accessible.
The purpose of gathering this information into one resource is
- To effectively support parts of the sector that do not have the capacity to engage in research.
- To reduce duplication of effort, to use this information to ensure our work is as effective as possible.
- To gain a better understanding of BME communities through learning what is happening nationally and in the rest of the region.
- To inform funding bids that increasingly ask for supporting research to demonstrate the need of the project.
To this end, Voice would like request your participation. If your organisation has conducted BME related research that you are willing to share with the wider sector, please get in touch! Email us at policy@voice-em.org.uk or contact Clare Anoopa, on 0115 950 8820, to learn more about the project.
